    Predators Assign Seven to Junior Teams, Roster Down to 54

    Today General manager Barry Trotz announced that seven player from the 2023 Nashville Predators training camp have been assigned to their respective junior teams.

    Those players include:

    Kalan Lind - Red Deer/WHL

    Austin Roest - Everett/WHL

    Joey Willis - Saginaw/OHL

    Dylan MacKinnon - Halifax/QMJHL

    Graham Sward - Wenatchee/WHL

    Austin Elliott - Saskatoon/WHL

    Owen Flores - Niagara/OHL

    Lind, Roest. Willis, and MacKinnon were 2023 Draft selections for the Nashville Predators. Sward was a 2022 fifth round pick for the Nashville, and Flores and Elliott attended camp on a tryout agreement.

    The Predators training camp roster now sits at 54, and Andrew Brunette will continue evaluating those remaining players tomorrow night as the Predators host the Tampa Bay Lightning in their first preseason home game. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:00 pm CT.
