According to Kevin Weekes, the Nashville Predators will be making a coaching change and hiring Andrew Brunette, who was most recently the interim head coach of the Florida Panthers.
After much speculation and intrigue, it sounds like the Nashville Predators have decided to move on from John Hynes. According to Kevin Weekes, the Predators are hiring Andrew Brunette, interim head coach of the Florida Panthers.
Brunette was a 1993 7th round draft pick of the Washington Capitals, but played the 1998-1999 inaugural season in Smashville as a Predator. He played a total of 1,110 NHL games before serving in assistant coach and assistant GM roles in teh league.
Most recently Brunette was names the interim head coach of the Florida Panthers on October 29, 2021 after Joel Quenneville resigned.
