This week's episode features a conversation with Dan Hinote, who served as an assistant coach with the Predators for the past four seasons. Nashville opted not to renew Hinote's contract this summer, prompting him to accept a new position as an associate head coach with the American Hockey League's Colorado Eagles.

While the transition marks a new beginning for Hinote, it's also a homecoming of sorts. The Eagles are the AHL affiliate of the Colorado Avalanche, where Hinote played his first six NHL seasons and won a Stanley Cup in 2001.
