
It's not quite time for the regular season to begin, but there will be plenty to watch in September as the Nashville Predators gear up for the 2023-24 season.

The hockey lull after the free agency frenzy is almost over as hockey fans look ahead to the preseason action starting up this month. The Nashville Predators have plenty on the schedule in September as the team prepares to kick off a new chapter under GM Barry Trotz and head coach Andrew Brunette in 2023-24. Here are dates to know for Predators fans.
The Predators Rrookie camp kicks off September 13 in Nashville before the team travels to Estero, FL to play in the 2023 NHL Prospects Showcase. The Showcase brings together the rookies from the Florida Panthers, Tampa Bay Lightning, and Carolina Hurricanes for a four day tournament.
Here is Nashville's schedule for the Prospects Showcase:
Fri. Sept. 15: Predators vs. Lightning 3:00 pm CT
Sat. Sept. 16: Predators vs. Panthers 5:00 pm CT
Mon. Sept 18: Predators vs. Hurricanes 9:00 am CT
The games will all be played at Hertz Arena.

Once rookie camp wraps up, the veterans join the youth on the ice for training camp that opens on September 20. It will be one of the more intriguing training camps in recent seasons with a new head coach, a very different looking roster, and several young players fighting for a chance to start their season in Nashville. Those roster battles will continue during the exhibition games leading up to the regular season kick off in October.

Sat. Sept. 30: Predators vs. Tampa Bay Lightning (A) 4:00 pm CT
Thurs. Oct. 5: Predators vs. Carolina Hurricanes (H) 7:00 pm CT
Fri. Oct. 6: Predators vs. Carolina Hurricanes (A) 6:00 pm CT
The Predators kick off the regular season on Tuesday, October 10 with the first game of an ESPN triple header as they take on the Tampa Bay Lightning at 4:30 pm CT at Amalie Arena.
