The Nashville Predators will be relying on the 24 year old to take another step forward and help get the team back into playoff contention.
The Nashville Predators are starting a new chapter with a revamped roster, a new head coach, and a handful of young players who will need to step into bigger roles on the team. One of those players who will need to continue to grow his game is center Cody Glass.
Glass hasn't had an easy road in the NHL after being drafted sixth overall in 2017 by the Vegas Golden Knights. Injuries and an unexpected trade marred his early seasons, but the hard working Winnipeg native battled his way back into Nashville's roster last season. As veteran players left the lineup due to injuries and trades at last season's deadline, Glass stepped into a bigger role for the Predators down the stretch.
This season may be Glass's chance to show exactly what he is capable of, and there are three things he will need to succeed in 2023-24.
