The New York Islanders have acquired defenseman Carson Soucy from the New York Rangers in exchange for a 2026 third-round pick.

Carson Soucy is traded for the second time in two seasons. He heads to Long Island in the first trade between the New York Rangers and New York Islanders in more than 15 years.
