The Islanders have brought back Travis Mitchell on a one-year, two-way deal. Mitchell had a chance to make his NHL debut this past season, meeting the team out in Vancouver but Alexander Romanov was able to return to the lineup.

He'll be a strong piece for Bridgeport.
