Utah To Be Without Dylan Guenther Against Islanders & Beyond
The Utah Hockey Club forward Dylan Guenther is out indefinitely with an lower-body injury. That means he will miss Saturday’s game against the New York Islanders.
The 21-year-old leads the team with 16 goals, adding 18 assists for a total of 34 points in 40 games this season.
In Utah’s first-ever matchup against the Islanders on Oct. 10, he scored two goals on three shots, including the overtime winner.
Guenther previously faced the Islanders on Nov. 10, 2022, where he went scoreless in a 2-0 victory.

With Guenther’s injury, Josh Doan was recalled from the Tucson Roadrunners (AHL).
The 22-year-old has eight goals and 13 assists for 21 points in 25 AHL games with Tuscon. In 20 NHL games over the past two seasons, he has six goals and five assists for 11 points in 20 games.
The Islanders will be without forwards Simon Holmstrom and Hudson Fasching, and rookie defenseman Isaiah George.
Utah hosts the San Jose Sharks tonight before the Islanders on Saturday night at 9 PM ET.
The Islanders have won two straight comes, their latest a 4-0 shutout victory against the Vegas Golden Knights on Thursday.
