When the Seattle Kraken battled the Vegas Golden Knights on Tuesday night, former New York Islanders forward Jordan Eberle skated in his 1,000th NHL game.

This season, forward Cal Clutterbuck skated in his 1,000th NHL game when the New York Islanders battled the Philadelphia Flyers on Nov. 25.

Last season, it was longest-tenured Islander Josh Bailey, who celebrated that milestone in October of 2022.

A familar face, and former teammate of those two reached the 1,000-game milestone on Tuesday night when the Seattle Kraken hosted the Vegas Golden Knights: Jordan Eberle

Eberle, who could have decided to ask out of Seattle at the NHL Trade Deadline given his unrestricted free agent status, inked a two-year extension with the Kraken last Thursday.

The contract has an average annual value of $4.75 million.

Here's his video tribute, which includes the top higlights of his NHL career:

After starting his career in Edmtonton, playing 507 games over seven years with the Oilers with 165 goals and 217 assists for 382 points, the Islanders

Eberle was acquired by the Islanders in the 2017 offseason from the Oilers for Ryan Strome, before spending four seasons on Long Island.

He scored 76 goals with 93 assists for 169 points over 272 games, mostly playing with Mat Barzal, with whom he developed a close relationship.

Eberle scored the double-overtime winner in Game 5 against the Lightning in 2020:

General manager Lou Lamoriello left Eberle unprotected at the 2021 Expansion Draft, and the Kraken took him.

Eberle has spent nearly three seasons in Seattle with 55 goals and 89 assists for 144 points in 221 games.
