The Flyers took the ice for pregame warmups in their Stadium Series white uniforms, with the Islanders coming out wearing their home blue sweaters:
The Islanders have worn blue on the road a handful of times over the past few years, largely against the New Jersey Devils.
New York visited the Devils on a few Heritage Nights, with New Jersey wearing their throwback white jerseys or, in the case of 2022-23, their Colorado Rockies-inspired Reverse Retros.
The Islanders also wore white in their building twice this season, most recently against the Carolina Hurricanes on March 19. With the Flyers rocking their Stadium Series jerseys tonight, it’s unknown if the Islanders will break theirs out at UBS Arena before the end of the season.
