A few New York Islanders prospects had themselves a night on Saturday.
Cole Eiserman, who the Islanders selected with the 20th overall pick in the 2024 NHL Draft, scored for the second straight game.
After wiring a power-play one-timer home for his first career collegiate goal, Eiserman lit the lamp again on the man advantage against Union College.
On the power play, Cole Hutson sliced his way through multiple Union defenders and handed it off to Eiserman in the slot, who beat the goaltender through the five-hole:
Eiserman tallied six shots against Union, raising his season total to 10 through two games.
Teammate and fellow Islanders draft pick Kamil Bednarik, who New York selected in the second round of the 2024 NHL Draft, tallied his first collegiate point, an assist after Jack Harvey banked home a rebound of his shot:
The Islanders’ prospects weren’t done showing off the goods on Saturday night as the best goalie goes to Wisconsin’s Quinn Finley, who did his best Fransisco Lindor impression for the overtime Badger dagger:
The Islanders drafted Finley in the third round of the 2022 NHL Draft.
