The New York Islanders head to Newark Monday to battle the New Jersey Devils Monday night at the Prudential Center.

Puck drop is slated for 7 PM ET.

The Islanders did not hold a pregame morning skate. Head coach Lane Lambert will speak at 4:45 PM ET to provide updates before the game.

The Islanders game group did run lines on Sunday morning, with a few personnel changes from their Saturday duel against the rival New York Rangers.

    POWER PLAY UNITS:

    PP: (Net Front-Bumper-LW-RW-Point)

    PP1: Wahlstrom-Horvat-Barzal-Nelson-Dobson

    PP2: Lee-Pageau-Gauthier-Engvall-Aho

    WHO TO WATCH:

Oliver Wahlstrom: He did not take part in Saturday night's preseason game, and with the way Hudson Fasching and Julien Gauthier have played, the 22-year-old needs to have a statement game.

Simon Holmstrom: The young forward has been given a critical chance alongside Bo Horvat and Mathew Barzal. While his defensive play and passing hasn't been an issue, a lack of hitting the net has been the storyline.

Sebastian Aho: Right now, Aho is in a battle with Samuel Bolduc for the sixth and final defense spot. He's currently winning but needs to continue to be a stable option to keep his lead.

NOTES: Kyle Palmieri remains day-to-day with an undisclosed injury. He is skating on his own daily.

Hudson Fasching is not part of the game group due to a numbers game.

Lambert has raved about Fasching, and he’s coming off an impressive performance Saturday.

HOW TO WATCH: Tonight's game will be available on MSGSN.
