This was his fifth Jam Kancer event, and it was by far the most successful, beating last year’s event by a total of $155,000. Lee thanked his teammates, the Islanders organization, and fans for donating and supporting the event in a post on X: The Kancer Jam was held on Sep. 16 at Northwell Ice Center, the Islanders practice facility in East Meadow. The Islanders players and organization showed up for Anders, allowing kids and families to have a great experience while raising money for families affected by cancer. Lee has been holding this event since 2017 and has now helped raise around $3 million.
