Tsyplakov Chat Despite another loss for the Bridgeport Islanders, a 6-3 defeat at the hands of the Providence Bruins, there were a few positives. Rookie defenseman and Long Island native Marshall Warren scored his first professional goal, while fellow rookie Alex Jefferies stayed hot. With Bridgeport already up 1-0, Jefferies led a 3-on-2 rush before dishing the puck to Marc Gatcomb, who was skating down the middle of the ice. Warren, who had jumped on the play, stayed high, receiving the pass from Gatcomb before sending a wrister top-shelf glove side: The Laurel Hollow, New York native, has a goal and two assists for three points in nine games with Bridgeport. Jefferies had two helpers in the game on Saturday, extending his point streak to four games. The forward has two goals and four assists in that span. In 19 games this season, he has five goals and 10 assists for 15 points, good for third on the team. Bridgeport returns to action on Dec. 11 at & PM ET against Providence.
