Kuhlman has 16 games of NHL playoff experience, all coming with the Boston Bruins. On the blue line, 25-year-old Salo is back on the NHL squad after playing 11 games for the Islanders in 2022-23. He has 32 NHL games under his belt. The pending unrestricted free agent had three goals and six assists over that span but had fallen down the defense depth charts, with just five goals and 19 assists in 68 games for Bridgeport this season. Cholowski, a former first-round draft pick of the Detroit Red Wings, signed a two-year deal in the summer of 2022 worth $1.525 million ($752,500 AAV) but has yet to suit up for the Islanders. This year for Bridgeport, Cholowski had seven goals and 24 assists in 68 games after one goal and 37 assists in 67 games during the 2022-23 season.
