Sept. 22 will give the Islanders their first look at Sheldon Keefe behind the Red and Black bench. He replaced interim head coach Travis Green, who took over for Lindy Ruff during their season. The New York Rangers, who fell to the Florida Panthers in the Eastern Conference Semi-Finals, and the Philadelphia Flyers, who missed the playoffs after a late-season collapse, are the other two opponents, as it's a MetLife Stadium Series preseason only.
