There was some concern that the injury could be a career-ender, but the fact that Lennox has been assigned to Bridgeport is a positive sign for the 2021 third-round pick. With Marcus Hogberg injured after joining the New York Islanders and Jakub Skarek currently filling in as the backup, the current AHL Islanders goaltending tandem is Henrik Tikkanen and Hunter Miska.
