NHL Network had some recent accolades for a pair of young Senators stars, Tim Stutzle and Jake Sanderson. Both players were near the top of the list of NHL players born in this quarter century, ranking third and fourth. As a '99, Brady Tkachuk just missed making the list.

On a ranking that included Connor Bedard (8), Macklin Celebrini (5), and Cole Caufield (12), to name a few, only Rasmus Dahlin and Jack Hughes finished ahead of the Sens duo. Stutzle and Sanderson are not only connected as teammates, but they were both drafted in the top 5 overall at the lucrative 2020 NHL Draft.
