
2026 NHL Draft Sneak Peek: Ryan Roobroeck Is One Scary IceDog
When Ryan<b> </b>Roobroeck went second overall to Niagara in the 2023 OHL draft, the IceDogs were in a bad spot.
After drafting Porter Martone with their top draft pick this year, the Flyers still don't have their prospective No. 1 center of the future.
They might soon if the early 2026 NHL Draft rankings tell us anything.
A name to watch going forward is Niagara IceDogs center Ryan Roobroeck, a 6-foot-4 center who finished 13th in the OHL in scoring this past season and sixth in goals.
Roobroeck led D-1 OHL skaters in the categories by 12 goals and 35 points, respectively.
The Flyers might need the help of moving up in the lottery for this one, but Roobroeck is a name to keep in your Rolodex for future reference.
