Top Flyers prospect Porter Martone has scored his first goal of the 2025 World Junior Summer Showcase in what could very well be his last game of the week.
The 18-year-old forward flew the defensive zone early, latching on to a three-line pass from defenseman Kashawn Aitcheson and sniping one by the blocker of Finland goalie Kim Saarinen.
According to Scott Wheeler of The Athletic, Martone and Canada's other returnees are expected to be sent home following the conclusion of Wednesday's game against Finland.
