Pittsburgh Penguins' GM and POHO Kyle Dubas doesn't make himself very active on social media at all, and when he does awaken from a posting slumber, it's typically very random but very funny.

We've seen the epic random reply to Evolving Wild regarding a Sidney Crosby point-per-game miscalculation two years ago. On the regular, a simple penguin or Canadian flag emoji is used to help share announcements. Very occasionally, he also responds to his grandmother, Marietta, who has one of the very best accounts on hockey twitter.

And, today, he came out from the shadows to show his support for the team across the river from the Penguins.

In response to a tweet by Adam Gretz about the Pittsburgh Pirates blowing a few too many leads and, potentially, missing the playoffs down the line because of that, Dubas chimed in to compare the situation to the team he manages:

"another Pittsburgh team had that very issue last winter and managed to rectify to make the playoffs. Keep the faith and Go Bucs!! 🏴‍☠️🐧" Dubas wrote.

One never knows when he will appear, but when he does, he makes an event out of it.
