New Columbus Blue Jackets equipment manager Paul DeFazio got quite the recommendation heading into his new position with the Jackets.

Pittsburgh Penguins' captain Sidney Crosby called Columbus on DeFazio's behalf ahead of his hire, recommending DeFazio for the position after 25 years with the Penguins' organization.
