Many Pittsburgh Penguins' fans were in an uproar following the team's 3-2 Game 1 loss against the Philadelphia Flyers on Saturday.
But it might not be for the reason you think.
Some loud fans took to social media in the aftermath to voice their displeasure about the Penguins' decision to wear their third jerseys - gold ones - at home during the playoffs. And, for clarity, teams are required to choose a home and a road jersey prior to the start of Game 1, and once they choose, those jerseys are locked in and cannot be changed.
The Penguins went 8-2-1 in their third jerseys during the regular season.
