Monday's statement 7-2 over the Colorado Avalanche included a few milestones, such as Anthony Mantha setting a new career-high in goals with 26 and Elmer Soderblom registering his first tally in black and gold.

But there was another milestone that flew a bit under the radar... even if that was part of the punchline.

After Penguins' assistant coaches handed out the other two "milestone" pucks, head coach Dan Muse presented fourth-line forward Noel Acciari with a "special one."

"This one's special," Muse said. "Cookie. Ten Assists."

Acciari has never registered 10 assists or more in an NHL season, and Erik Karlsson made sure that he was able to get the puck for his astounding accomplishment.

And he cheered the loudest, too.
