Newly signed Pittsburgh Penguins' forward Nick Robertson - who was acquired as an RFA for a 2028 fourth-round pick Jul. 1 then subsequently signed to a two-year deal - took to the mic on Thursday to talk about his opportunity in Pittsburgh.
And he also discussed the situation his brother, Jason, faces as an RFA with the Dallas Stars headed to arbitration on Jul. 25. He has been the subject of trade speculation involving the Penguins and registered 45 goals and 96 points last season.
"Yeah, I would say my situation's a little different than his," Nick said. "I'm not going to say anything, but I've definitely talked to him about my situation, his situation. We both have... our situations are unique in [themselves]. He's got his thing, and I look forward to how that plays out."
So, nothing new on the "Jason Robertson rumor mill" front. But hey, we know they've talked about it, at least!
Do you think the brothers will ultimately end up reunited in Pittsburgh?
