In Friday night's contest between the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Buffalo Sabres, Alex Nedeljkovic scored the second-ever goalie goal for the Penguins, firing one down the length of the ice into the empty net at 17:18.

Interestingly, it wasn't his point of the night as he assisted on Cody Glass' power-play goal at 11:43 in the second period.

Moreover, Nedeljkovic scored a goal for the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins on Nov. 17, 2023, against the Providence Bruins.

Nedeljkovic joins Tristan Jarry as the only Pittsburgh goalie to score a goal in the NHL. On top of scoring a goal, he finished the evening with 39 saves as the Penguins defeated the Sabres 5-2.
