With the Penguins looking to the future - and the trade deadline looming - the Penguins have some options at the forward position. On Wednesday afternoon, the ECHL announced their All-Stars, which included Sergei Murashov of the Wheeling Nailers. The Pittsburgh Penguins prospect, drafted 118th overall at the 2022 Draft, was recently promoted to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins in the AHL. He'll get a chance to skate in Joel Blomqvist's spot as he recently earned a call up to the NHL. Meanwhile, Murashov will share the crease with incumbent Filip Larsson and Trsitan Jarry who recently git sent down. With the Nailers, Murashov has a 15-3-1 record in 20 games with a .919 SV% and 2.41 GAA. The 20-year-old, playing in North America for the first time, is tied for the second most wins in the league. Earlier this season, Murashov skated with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, picking up two wins in two games while earning a .919 SV% and 2.50 GAA.
