On Monday, President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Kyle Dubas announced that the Penguins have signed right defensive prospect Finn Harding [https://thehockeynews.com/nhl/pittsburgh-penguins/players/february-penguins-prospects-update-defensemen] to a three-year, entry level contract. Harding was selected in the seventh round (223rd overall) of the 2024 NHL Draft by the Penguins. He was actually a re-draft by the Penguins, as Harding also entered the 2023 NHL Draft but was not selected. For the Ontario Hockey League's (OHL) Brampton Steelheads so far in 2024-25, the 6-foot-2, 192-pound Harding has registered seven goals and 55 points in 59 games played, which is good enough for fifth-best among league defensemen. Overall, he has 19 goals and 99 points in 190 games for the Steelheads and is a plus-90.
