The Hall announced that Penguins amateur scout Krissy Wendell-Pohl will be inducted as part of the 2024 class." } }, { "type": "paragraph", "data": { "text": "A scout with the team since 2021, Wendell-Pohl will be the first woman to enter the Hall of Fame with a connection to the Penguins organization." } }, { "type": "paragraph", "data": { "text": "“Krissy is an admired by her peers and colleagues across hockey,” Penguins president Kyle Dubas said. “Her resume as a player, coach and executive speaks for itself and we would like to congratulate her on this much-deserved recognition of her talent and influence on the sport of hockey.”" } }, { "type": "paragraph", "data": { "text": "As a player, Wendell-Pohl represented the United States at the Olympics twice. She won a silver medal in 2002 and a bronze in 2006.
