Rewarding Fans For Their Loyalty: "It was a little bit sweeter, just kind of how rough our year last year was.

"Right away you could feel the support. We didn't give them the best show last year, so once we started winning, it just kept growing and growing. Then in the playoffs, the fans, the community, seeing Kraken logos everywhere, it was awesome.

"I think winning that game seven (round 1 against Colorado) was the top. Moving to the next round, and realizing that we have another chance at advancing another series, so it's hard to beat that."

On Will Borgen: "He didn't play a lot last year, and played some meaningful minutes this year. Once he starts to get those regular minutes, it's a big confidence boost, and then you get the support of the coach, and then he just played his game.

"He's such a good skater. He's strong, he defends well. That was kind of what everyone saw, and then once the confidence comes, then you start to see the puck handling, and how well he can skate with it. It's awesome to see him grow like that."

"I'm still growing in the fact of consistency every night. I was happy with the playoffs, when the intensity rose."

Looking Back, And Ahead: "I wouldn't say it was my best year offensively, but I'm still growing in the fact of consistency every night. I was happy with the playoffs, when the intensity rose. A lot of our team, and I thought I was one of them, stepped up their game. That's kind of why we advanced one series and almost another.

"I'll definitely take a couple of weeks away from working out and then kind of ease back into it. I love this group. We've battled for two years together, and we're growing some here, so obviously I'd love to stay."
