Seattle Kraken CEO Tod Leiweke has been there, done that, at the upper executive and ownership levels of pro sports. All sorts of sports: NHL, NFL, NBA, PGA, and indoor soccer, both with individual teams and at league headquarters.

Although, he'll readily tell you, trying to get a franchise off the ground during a pandemic was a challenge unlike any other - one he promises to detail in a book, someday.

We were fortunate enough to speak with Leiweke one-on-one, after last week's press conference announcing the contract extension for GM Ron Francis.
