The Seattle Kraken have activated Joey Daccord off of the injured reserve and have made several NHL to AHL transactions.

Daccord has been out since Dec. 22 when he suffered an upper-body injury against the Colorado Avalanche. He was placed on the IR on Jan. 5 but it was retroactive to Dec. 22 when he sustained the injury.

With Daccord back and available, the Kraken needed to move multiple players off of their NHL roster to be cap-compliant again. To do so, they reassigned Cale Fleury, Ales Stezka and Ben Meyers to the Coachella Valley Firebirds. In doing so they also recalled Mitchell Stephens.

Meyers has played a handful of games this season but was not able to record any points in those six games. Fleury has spent quite some time up with the Kraken this season but has played just two games, both back in late October and early November.

Stezka has also served some time up with the Kraken when they were dealing with Philipp Grubauer's injury earlier this year but he is still yet to make his NHL debut.

Stephens has been the most trusted Firebirds forward, playing in nine games and recording an assist. He's averaging just under 10 minutes of ice time per game and brings speed and versatility to play on the wing or as a centre when he's in the lineup.
