Kraken Obliged, Too, Beating Blue Jackets 4-2

The Seattle Kraken treated a "Kids Night" crowd at Climate Pledge Arena to a 4-2 victory Sunday over the Columbus Blue Jackets.

The Kraken did parents a favor by not giving the kids much to get excited about for the last two periods, but two goals and an assist by Jordan Eberle in the first 18 minutes of the game proved just enough to send everyone (except the Blue Jackets) home happy.

Our buddies Caroline Anne and Laura Beth from ComeAsYouAreHockey.com got into the Kids Night spirit, inviting Keira and Bella to shadow them as they covered the action.

The quartet was kind enough to share photos of the real action at CPA, youngsters enjoying a hockey night out.

Never too young to become a hockey fan.The blue paint looks better on this young fan than in the goal crease.Sign of the times (and Happy 13th Birthday!).Two-thirds of a great forward line; the other winger needed to get a new tentacle. Now we're ready. But the team store is going to need to re-stock.Team mascot Buoy was a best-seller, even with a severe case of troll-head.There's Buoy, asking how he can get curls that pretty.Bella & Keira couldn't see the game... until Buoy uncovered their eyes.Watch out... now he's coming for you!
