The Canucks were much more competitive in their last outing, a 2-1 overtime loss in Edmonton. Connor McDavid scored the overtime game-winner for the Oilers. In their opening pre-season tilt, the Calgary Flames burned Vancouver to a crisp, 10-0.
The Kraken so far have played two split-squad pre-season games, both on Monday night. The Kraken beat those same Flames 5-3 in Calgary, but dropped a 3-2 shootout to the Flames in Seattle.
