Two-Point Performance Sparks Seattle's 7th Consecutive Win
A home-repair company's tagline is, "Like it never happened."
Seattle Kraken forward Jaden Schwartz scored a goal and assist Tuesday against Buffalo like his 16-game absence never happened.
Out since Nov. 28 with an upper body injury, Schwartz showed little signs of rust in the Kraken's 5-2 victory at KeyBank Center. His pass sent Alex Wennberg in on a breakaway that gave Seattle a 3-2 lead.
The next goal was Schwartz's, a skilled deflection that put the Kraken up 4-2.
The team had managed to build a seven game winning streak without Schwartz; with him, they grew the streak to eight, and showed a noticeable spark up and down the lineup.
The winger's successful return is the topic of this Kraken Reaction postgame video.
