Kraken Must Improve On "Careless," "Sloppy" Effort From Chicago Defeat

The Seattle Kraken reached consensus on the main culprit in Tuesday's 4-3 loss to the Blackhawks in Chicago.

  • Kraken center Matty Beniers: "We were careless with the puck."
  • Kraken coach Dave Hakstol: "Our puck play was pretty sloppy through the first two periods."
  • Kraken winger Tye Kartye: "We gotta work on playing a full 60 minutes so we're not giving away goals."

Seattle faces the Toronto Maple Leafs tonight, in the second of their four game road trip. If the Kraken don't clean up their puck-handling, Leafs snipers including William Nylander, Auston Matthews and Mitch Marner will make them regret it more than the Blackhawks did.
