1,000th Game, New Contract Among Highlights Of Eberle's Year

What an eventful season for Seattle Kraken forward Jorden Eberle - although some of the events he could have done without.
It started with breaking a bone in his hand during a fight way back in October. That limited his scoring to four goals in his first 37 games, though he did star in a Nov. 18 upset of the Vancouver Canucks with one goal and two assists.
Once the hand healed, Eberle was good for 13 goals in his final 40 games. Along the way, he played in NHL game #1,000 Mar. 12 against Vegas, earned his 400th career assist Mar. 28 vs. Anaheim, and his 700th career point Apr. 1 vs. San Jose.

Eberle also signed a two-year, $9.5 million contract extension. That ensures his 300th NHL goal will also be scored in a Kraken sweater (He's sitting on 299).
The 33-year-old forward's most important goal is returning Seattle to the Stanley Cup playoffs. Eberle speaks about the value of confidence and consistency to reach that goal in today's Kraken Reaction conversation.
