Fresh off the ice from morning skate at the Kraken's practice facility, Ty Nelson discussed his routine for maintaining his health this season. The 2022 draft pick and returning Stuckey Cup champion also paid his respects to Coach Laxdal and the veteran players who have been mentoring him during training camp.

The 5'9", 195 lb right-handed defenseman is currently in his third season with the Ontario Hockey League's North Bay Battalion. Nelson was excited to work with Coach Laxdal and be reunited with many of his former Coachella Valley Firebirds teammates.

The Kraken haven't released the roster for tonight's rivalry rematch with the Vancouver Canucks, but there's a good chance you'll see the 'Kid' in the lineup. Puck drop is at 7 PM PST at Climate Pledge Arena..
