"I was sitting in a meeting. A friend of mine, Harry Sloan, was interested in buying a baseball team. I said (to myself), 'My love is hockey. They're not that expensive. Maybe we should get a hockey team.'"

Clearly, film and TV mogul Jerry Bruckheimer gets invited to different kinds of meetings than the rest of us. What he's describing in that quote was the first spark of an idea that eventually blossomed into co-majority ownership of the Seattle Kraken.
