Driedger Wins For Seattle In Same Rink He Starred For WHL Hitmen
Chris Driedger had three years of happy memories at the Scotiabank Saddledome, where he won 88 games for the WHL Calgary Hitmen between 2011-14.
Wednesday night, he added one more.
Completing a 19-month journey between NHL starts for the Seattle Kraken, Driedger made 37 saves - every one of them necessary in a 2-1 victory over the Calgary Flames.
Driedger spoke after the game about his lengthy recovery from an ACL tear in May, 2022. Alex Wennberg, who notched the game-winning goal, and coach Dave Hakstol also met the media for this Kraken Reaction video.
