The Seattle Kraken announced their 2026-27 schedule on Thursday, with 13 back-to-back games and one international trip. Several moments stand out in the upcoming season. Below are a few of the most anticipated events in the schedule. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 13 BACK-TO-BACK GAMES The Seattle Kraken will play 13 back-to-back games this season. The first will be November 27 and 28 against the Edmonton Oilers. 11 OF THE FIRST 24 MATCHUPS WILL BE DIVISION RIVALS 11 of the Kraken's first 24 games will be against Pacific Division rivals. The team will open the season on October 1 against the Calgary Flames. FINLAND TRIP The Seattle Kraken are heading to Finland for the 2026 NHL Global Series. They will play two games against the Carolina Hurricanes on November 12th and 14th. FAN APPRECIATION NIGHT WILL BE APRIL 3 The Seattle Kraken's Fan Appreciation Night will take place on April 3. The Kraken will play four straight road games to conclude the regular season, so the celebration for the fans will take place earlier in the month. ‘BUILD-A-PACK’ ALLOWS FANS A NEW WAY TO PURCHASE TICKETS. The Seattle Kraken’s ‘Build-A-Pack’ allows fans to purchase 3- 9 tickets throughout the season. Fans will be able to decide what nights they want to attend and where in the arena they would like to sit. This new promotion allows for flexibility in scheduling for fans. HEAVILY SCHEDULED WINTER MONTHS Due to the trip to Finland and the two additional games added to the league-wide schedule, the Seattle Kraken will be heavily scheduled in December, January, and March. The team will play 15 games in December and January and 16 in March. TWO ADDITIONAL GAMES The Seattle Kraken will play two additional games this season.
