Whether veteran winger Jordan Eberle (pictured above) remains in Seattle could depend on whether he and the team agree on the length of a new deal. "Eberle has been going back and forth with the Kraken on a contract," Frank Seravalli reported [https://youtu.be/G__c5oi5oL8?feature=shared] on his Daily Faceoff podcast. "They’re offering a two-year deal, but he’s looking for a third. I believe his preference is to stay in Seattle, but if Seattle doesn’t get a deal done, they’ve vowed to trade him by Friday.” If the two sides don't come to an agreement, he could be headed back to place he played for seven seasons. “Eberle is another player the Oilers are monitoring,” said Seravalli. “They would bring him in even after the (Adam) Henrique deal." That's how former Kraken center Alex Wennberg described his first practice after being traded to New York on Wednesday.
