The Blues have extended one of their defensemen.

The St. Louis Blues are keeping one of their defensemen around, as they have signed Corey Schueneman to a one-year, two-way contract extension. He will make $775,000 at the NHL level and $425,000 in the AHL next season.

Schueneman joined the Blues organization this past off-season. Now, after landing this extension, he will be sticking around for another season at least.
