MARYLAND HEIGHTS, Mo. -- St. Louis Blues coach Jim Montgomery had the latest on forwards Robert Thomas and Oskar Sundqvist, who each missed practice on Tuesday.

On Thomas, who had a lower-body procedure done prior to the Olympic break: "Thomas is recovering really well, just started his first recovery skate. We expect him to be participating in practice but we don’t know exactly when. We’re hoping by the weekend."

On Sundqvist: "Sundqvist had a (upper body) procedure done during the break, something that’s been bothering him and he’s not cleared to play. We think he’ll be cleared Monday."
