The news broke like a wildfire of the passing of metal great Ozzy Osbourne on Tuesday afternoon.

The musician great was 76 at the time of his passing, which was announced by his family. 

There's a connection between Osbourne and the St. Louis Blues, however.

There's the iconic photo of his arrest in the 1980s on Beale Street in Memphis, days after adding a Blues shirt to his collection be bought after touring in St. Louis days earlier:

And then there's of course the photo of Osbourne wearing a Blues jersey pulling for them the night of Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final against the Boston Bruins, which they won 4-1 for their first title inn franchise history:
