Stephen R. Sylvanie-USA TODAY Sports - Player to watch vs. Senators: Jordan Kyrou

ST. LOUIS -- Craig Berube is not around to push Jordan Kyrou anymore. Now, the St. Louis Blues forward has a new sheriff to try and get him out of his offensive funk.

Kyrou played under interim coach Drew Bannister when the Blues' AHL affiliate was in San Antonio, so there is some familiarity there, and Bannister is throwing Kyrou right into the fire with Robert Thomas and Pavel Buchnevich.

If there ever was a time that the Blues need their leading goal scorer from a season ago to get going, it's now that there has been a coaching shakeup, and this is the time for Kyrou to jump up and grab the moment.

The Blues have lost four in a row, and although Kyrou has 17 points in 28 games this season, he's paid to score goals, and he has one in the past 14 games.

Let's see if playing with the Blues' two top offensive performers can get him going.
