The St. Louis Blues are well-represented over the next week-plus with prospects vying for spots for their respective countries for the 2024 IIHF World Junior Championship.
USA, Sweden and Finland are all part of the 2023 World Junior Summer Showcase being held at USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth, Michigan, which started July 27 and runs through Aug. 4.

Games got underway on Saturday with the three countries -- the USA split into White and Blue teams -- and Stenberg was among the goal scorers for Sweden in their 7-0 romp against USA Blue, and Finland doubled up USA White 4-2.

Fischer represented USA Blue and skated on a pair with Hunter Brzustewicz.
Stenberg's goal at 12:27 of the second period on a goalmouth deflection gave Sweden a 3-0 lead.
Snuggerud did not factor in the scoring Saturday for USA White; he played right wing on a line with Rutger McGroarty and Cutter Gauthier.
Snuggerud, vying for his second World Junior, was second for USA last year with 13 points (five goals, eight assists) in seven games.
