According to NHL insider Elliotte Friedman, the Tampa Bay Lightning have placed goaltender Brandon Halverson on waivers.
The Lightning signed Halverson to a two-year NHL contract back on Feb. 3, and he was recalled to their roster. However, he must now go through waivers before he can return to the Syracuse Crunch.
Halverson, 28, did not appear in a game for the Lightning during his brief call-up. He has one NHL appearance on his resume, which was during the 2017-18 season with the New York Rangers.

Halverson has had an excellent season with the Crunch. In 26 games with the AHL squad, he has a 12-7-7 record, a .918 save percentage, and a 2.20 goals-against average.
