Lightning look to deliver a cleaner performance in their last game on the road before heading back to Tampa.

Brayden Point gives his thoughts after an Opening Night win v

The Bolts will get one more opportunity to pick up points on their three game road-trip as they face a third-straight Atlantic Division opponent in Buffalo on Tuesday night. Here's where they stand..

On the Lightning side

So far the Lightning have allowed an average of 4.67 goals per game and have  struggled with allowing turnovers in their own end. Ultimately those mistakes have kept them from grabbing a win on the road. It’s early in the season, but this is something they’ll want to buckle down on heading into Buffalo.

The Bolts have also been without captain Steven Stamkos due to a lower body injury. He is currently tied for first on the team in goals scored and second in points.

On the Buffalo side

Buffalo is 0-2 heading into tonight’s game. So far their top line of Jeff Skinner, Tage Thompson and Alex Tuch has not factored on a goal yet. Neither has the fourth line, with captain Kyle Okposo and alternate Zemgus Girgensons. If the Lightning can come together on defense, they have an opportunity to leave the road-trip with two points.
