It was announced on X by NHL insider Kevin Weekes that the skilled Canucks forward has been generating interest around the league. Hoglander's talent is not the only thing that will catch the interest of teams around the NHL, though. Hoglander is currently on a three-year deal worth $9 million. While also being young, talented, and affordable, the young Swede stands out as a prime potential target for the Lightning. Through his first 242 career games in the NHL, Hoglander has posted 52 goals and 95 points. The 24-year-old forward is coming off a season in which he set career-highs in goals (24) and points (36).
